
The “RAMP tax” in Morgan County, is a small, dedicated levy collected by the county to support recreation programs and related services. It was
Proposition #22 on the General Election Ballot of Morgan County in November of 2018 and whose passing was affirmed by Morgan County
Ordinance CO-18-11 which further defined the taxes authorized uses.
Ballot Language:
“PROPOSITION #22
Shall Morgan, Utah, be authorized to impose a .1% sales
and use tax for the purpose of funding recreation programs
and facilities within Morgan County?”
February 3rd, 2026 the Morgan County Commission passed Morgan County Resolution CR 26-12 naming the Morgan County Council of
Governments (COG), as the RAMP Tax Advisory Board. The COG Board is comprised of elected officials and staff of Morgan County, Morgan City, and
the Morgan School District. Their meetings are monthly and are open to the public.
