Wildland Fire Crews
Morgan County Fire Department’s Wildland Fire Crews are trained and equipped to protect life, property, and natural resources from wildland fires. These specialized teams respond to grass, brush, and forest fires across the county and beyond, often working in rugged terrain and extreme conditions.
Our wildland firefighters are certified and experienced in initial attack, extended operations, and large-scale incident support. They operate a fleet of brush trucks, water tenders, and UTVs designed for off-road and remote access firefighting. The crew also plays a vital role in fire prevention efforts through fuels reduction, burn operations, and public education.
Whether on the fireline or preparing our community for wildfire season, our wildland crews stand ready to serve with strength, strategy, and safety in mind.
